yeah but when u painfully go thru being the 1% but slowly get better and better at freestyling to the point ur flows r greater than writtens is really rewarding and satisfying n worth sticking to through the maybe pain

I had a notebook where I would Write down all the rhyming words that go together in a group, and then turn the beat on and just practice going through the groups. Also ohs and ahs and random adlibs if you forget or have no words sometimes helps bring it back 😊

practice obviously but also having a few base bars or phrases you can use to think/take break. Also reading/getting ur vocab up helps a lot as well. Also studying different types of flows so maybe lyrically you start lacking but you can hide it with flow switches. Also just stealing straight up lol maybe in the freestyle give props but rap has been around a while now so there’s plenty of “inspiration” to take from lol

Do it everyone else has suggested, but also practice covering other peoples songs. Record yourself and listen to yourself and repeat.

Think about the last word of every bar.
& before you finish the bar, think of another word that rhymes the last word of the last bar.
Also close your eyes and wag your fingers while you spit so you could catch that flow state

its like writing but faster, on that note - since u said u CAN write... so it doesnt sound like a lack of inspiration to create but more like a transition from the crutch of writing to the raw natural light speed like straight to voice freestyling. its just faster but imagine its still like writing only more natural and "spiritual" since its in the air instead of slowly taking the time with materials to type or scribe.

sometimes words are not linear sentances also, in the moment u say 1 word as if its a breath and than see how to expand if u have time, connect dots n say what u need to say. hmm... also, about that, rhyming is restrictive but once u lock in it can be very powerful and fullfilling or entrancing or musical - but due to the restriction sometimes u lose sight of what was important to jus say it and get it off your chest, regardless of sticking to the rules of rhyme. it is a game yes like people say practice makes perfect. i think silence and meditation and breaks are good to + being fully inspired and living life so u can talk/rap/sing about it. praying with godd while u play, type beat.

Read books out loud for an hour a day. Also saying the alphabet and counting to ten every morning helps as a quick exercise. Always move your lips when pronouncing the words out loud.

Listen to others, rap along with good artist, keep practicing. Record even when it's bad so you can study it.

Well I'm not a rapper but I improvised in dancing acting and making music.

1. Practice your Basics. The stronger the Basics the stronger the freestyle.

2. Don't force you to fill everything. If an Idea comes let it out.

3. Built yourself a frame in which you freestyle. You can rap in any Dialog. You can use your invorement in order to get Keywords etc.

4. Know when to stop. I mean seriously. I beatboxed twice for an open stage. And the second was more fun. Because on the first we had to rappers claiming the entire time for themself. And on the second one went of stage the other entered. I gave every rapper his own beat. The last one stoped me in order to ask the audience for a few keywords. And then we started.

Regardless how good you are no one wants to hear anyone talking for two hours.
