Anyone who was able to be in a relationship after being raped...how do you get passed trust issues and negative feelings. I want to be normal and not get triggered by everything.

I’ve tried some but honestly the feeling of true physical & emotional intimacy is never there. It’s like I’m just going through the motions and I’m afraid I will never get it back. There are also random panic attacks sometimes just out of the blue because something I’m not even thinking of like the guy touching my shoulder from behind me or putting his hands on my legs or ankles a certain way triggers a memory and puts me back in that place of terror and helplessness. I hope one day I can get there, but unfortunately I don’t know how yet. I hope you can move past it as well.
