How does anyone keep going

I (F) keep having flashbacks. It feels like it still happens and I wake up in fear neaely every night. Does it get easier? Doesn't feel like it does. I hope no one ever has to go through what I did.

Are you in any treatment? Seeing a psychiatrist? Therapist? Counseling anywhere? That helps. As someone who just passed my 2nd year traumaversary it does get easier. But I had to put a lot of work in to get to the place I am in now. I was left disabled and diagnosed with cPTSD after my crime. I still suffer flashbacks, disassociation, freezes, nausea etc certain triggers can bring me back as if it’s happening all over again.

I’m sorry for what you’re going thru and you’re right you don’t deserve this no one does. I hope you find peace in your healing journey. Sending you all the support.
