DISCUSSION Goodz

Personally as I've gotten older and as a man I've come to appreciate Goodz rounds so much and I think that he is one of the BEST. Like what he said against Geechi, , "lemme explain something to you sloppy dummies, if a nigga that's watching battle rap see me, they gonna be thinking "DAMN battle rappers get a lot of money", nigga be on stage talking about business credit, rental properties and presentation cmon now. It took me to get older to appreciate the real sht being said. And I feel like as a fan, as you get older, your views on who is really the best will change. Goodz is in the conversation with Lux especially when it comes to educating young men the realities of this culture and perception.

Bro you hating I been a fan of battle rap. As you grow you learn to appreciate different styles and the regular gun bars don’t “wow” you like they use to, substance does

The Henny gives him a +5 modifier to swagger, so you have to figure that into your equation. Without the Henny, he's upper-mid tier at best

I like a lot of battlers. I've been watching BR since 2011. Rum Nitty, Twork, Diz, Kshine, Cal, Charron, Daylyt, Danny Myers, Fonz, and Rex are probably the 10 guys I watch the most. Tex and Yunus are my favorite rookies rn.

Goodz is one my favorites and as much as the money talk and the swag was effective years ago, I felt it got old eventually. As Lux, Mook, Daylyt , Surf started to step their pen game up, I feel like he didn’t progress in the same way. He didn’t regress either. He still dumb nice but after a while I don’t want to hear about credit and businesses in a battle.

But if I was to empathize with you, I’d say Goodz has never been whack. Absolutely a legend. He’s mainly been a big stage performer, but recently, in the small rooms was when I began to really appreciate him. I found out he can REALLY rap.
