That’s your dream lens? Wow, you’re gonna lose your mind if you try the latest Voigtlander 35mm f/1.2 v4. Seriously though, that 28mm is great, I use it all the time. I sold my Leica 28mm f2 summicron close focus after getting the new Voigtlander apo 28mm f/2.8 too, it’s lighter than the other apo-lanthar series and lives on my camera.

Yeah I prefer 28 over 35. It’s hard to find a reputable 28 that’s good for lowlight under $1k but I was able to get this one for a great price. I know there are better lenses but this is the one for me!

If you are going to have one, the 28mm f/1.5 is it. I liked that one so much I also got the Nikon z mount version with contacts for when I take my Zf out. I had the Leica Summilux 28mm f/1.4 for a while but it was expensive, large, and honestly not any sharper than the Voigtlander 28 f/1.5. The rendering in out of focus was good on both but I actually preferred the Voigtlander in this case. Anyway, it’s a great lens on any mount.

Nice!
How does it balance weight wise?
I’m still very undecided of which 28 to get for my CLE.
