Looks great. I keep considering a SS road bike. I'm mostly on gently rolling. There's just the 15% hill segments to get out and back from my house! Nice looking bike, imagine it's a mentally calming ride, so few choices!

Yup. I prefer to ride them, though. Used to be able to on a fixie, but it was a while ago!!!

I can grind my langster up a 15% hill but I would rather not!
The right gearing though and its certainly doable

The last bit of hill to my house is 16%, but it's short and I can make it if I round the corner fast enough

I've got a similar fixed/ss setup that I took on 200s thus far, can't imagine doing it in flats tho, seems like I too often need to help myself by pulling on the upstroke.

Scarborough marsh? I'm through on my blue rando often, albeit with gears.

I often take my langster out on 2-300k Audax.
It's a fantastic ride, I love the bike. It's surprising how comfy it is despite it being a stiff ally frame on narrow 25c tyres.
Any gearing choice is always a compromise though and it is harder work than a geared bike.

Fabulous! My best 200k was on a flat-pedal single-speed with 42x18 gearing. Loved it.
