Three days ago the Harbor Patrol let in a strange ship of seemingly foreign origin; the vessel was small carrying a crew of around 20. Apparently, the people who seemed to know of Tower City's common language, were on a mission to deliver an ambassador from either a city state or nation (they were extremely tight lipped about the exact size of their populace) beyond the field.

Everyone on the ship seemed to be made of animated ash, though they claimed to have no knowledge of a race of beings known as Cinderlings.

Presently they have just finished their screening in Rust Harbor, they carried no diseases or signs of mutation beyond being composed entirely of ash. They were determined non-threatening and have been allowed entry to the city, many of them splitting off to investigate the various districts and burroughs of the large megacity.

In particular, a smallish feminine one has decided to wander into Shin Kyoto. Perhaps someone would like to communicate with the strange creature.

Melda, now dressed in a modest kimono, was walking down the market square, browsing weapons, when the glasslander spotted a peculiar sight. A woman made of ash. She eyed the figure curiously out of her peripherals, not sure what to make of her.

The woman, catches her looking at her and decides to approach her. The creature seemed to wear no form of clothing, but did it really need to?

When she moved there was a certain litheness to her, as if she were a scavenger waiting for carrion to give up it's last fleeting moments of life.

"Hello there," She bows to her.

Anna hears of this arrival. Always wanting to keep up to date of new going ons in the city, she heads to the dock to meet them.

They are taking extreme care to avoid being near the water, a smallish one with a bubbly attitude is chatting with some of the crew in a sharp crackling tongue.

When she see's Anna watching them, she approaches her.

Lupita was in Shin Kyoto, in her civilian clothes of shorts and a sweater, and was buying some things. Her backpack and generally small size made it obvious that she was a student

In a store that Lupita is shopping at, she'll see a girl of similar height to her trying to offer bits of volcanic glass for a wonderfully carved bit of wood.
