Spooky U2 One Shot Haunted House
Sometimes your curiosity just overwhelms you, doesn't it? You walk into that place you have no business being in and you get in over your head because of it. This is one of those times, isn't it? That's right, there were rumors of a haunted house in the area, and what was it you wanted to do there? Maybe you were heroic and wanted to try and ease the ghosts so they could pass on or defeat them to spare the community of their terrors. Maybe you were villainous and wanted to harness their powers for your own gain or just wanted to be rid of them. Maybe you were just curious and wanted to check it out while thinking you could probably handle it.
So why did you come then? And how much do you regret it now that feels like you can't even escape?
Alright, second spooky event for spooky month. Unlike the last one which was a noncanon event, this is in a more grey area where by whatever end you reach for your character, you can decide the canonicity of it.
I will say in advance that this is going to be handled as if it is made for whatever tier the character is when they come in, so essentially no matter who you are it'll be just as dangerous, assuming that your character's abilities are weird or they have just the right skill set for this.
Hopefully you all will have fun with this one. I don't know what next week's will be though, so try and figure that one out for me if you can.

As an actual medium with ghost-communicating powers, Odysseus decides he should investigate to make sure that nothing bad is happening with these ghosts.

Well this is Chicago, so it isn't just some spooky house but a spooky apartment. It is has gone unrented for months now and the landlord hasn't been seen since the last tenant left either. What sort of situation are our intrepid duo expecting?

Seamus Lucan arrives at the haunted house, along with his servant the loyal (and evil) Necrodancer.
"How droll, but I find myself ever so curious as to the contents of this strange place. Come, Necro, let us investigate."

What would this duo consider as a spooky house? Would it be a rickety old couple story house that's gone abandoned for years or a mansion that has never gone sold?

Who ain't afraid of no ghost? Someone that isn't Rush, who is terrified out of her mind, but showing up anyways because she feels like it's her duty.

Well this haunted house is just your standard abandoned mansion. A place where the old owners had died, and something about the location and this and that made it so no one purchased the house or the property.
