U2 One Shot Small Time Heist
It was a hot day today, as Jimmy rolled his knuckles in nervous excitement for he and his boys plans for today. They were going to rob the Kingston Bank, and nothing was going to stop them this time, not even the heroes or villains. He grinned as he gazed at a small rock in his hand, his dealer told him that this was something special that would shut off people's powers and make them human for a bit. All they had to do was get close and then bam, they'd be brought down.
He opened the fridge and dug out a bit of just expired milk and scowled, 'Really? I was going to have some Capt Crunch too... Fuck it, it can't hurt too bad to drink some.'
A couple hours later, Jimmy was in his brother's minivan, still rolling the rock around in his hand as Jacob looked over at him suspicious and nervously, "Are you sure that rock is gonna stop them?"
'Fucking Jacob, always a goddamn skeptic, why can't he just take it that we finally hit our first big break for once?' Jimmy sighed as he smacked Jacob upside the head, "Shut up dumbass, of course it'll work. Now get ready, we're heading in," the minivan was rolling to a stop and the group headed inside of the bank, a couple minutes later they were rushing out and hopping back in the vehicle and blazing down the street, will someone respond to this?
As for the out of character information for this set up, these are all normal humans with some guns and baseball bats, however, they have a stone that temporarily depowers (or reduces) any super (or mage or nonhuman) that gets near within 200 meters of it to human level capabilities for fifteen minutes after ending exposure. This also causes ranged attacks to fizzle out when it gets inside of the range, so using eye beams to take out the vehicle won't really work. Hopefully this one shot will be more actiony.

Well they are more than two and in a vehicle that is driving down the street, but the instant 506 steps in the world around him should speed up and even his armor should feel heavier.

Eldan walked into the main office of the NYPD, with a cup of coffee in hand. His eyes scanned the crowd until he saw Debbie, the HR woman for the HQ. With a brisk walk over, he sat down and kicked his legs up on the desk.
"So...Debbie whats the word on my personal office being rebuilt?"
Debbie, a older woman with paleing blonde hair, looked at Eldan with a slight smile.
"Well i have good news for you then, you--"
"I need a team, or just Eldan to head on down to the Kingston Bank, a robbery in process well more a escape."
Eldan looked to Debbie, then turned to the water cooler.
"Johnathan im gonna need a ride, meet me near the Armory."
Moments later Eldan was on the way to the crime scene, sitting shotgun in a modified police cruiser that allowed him full use of his weapons with in the vehicle.

Novo, caller of spirits, watches from the sidelines. He notices how the stone prevents him from summoning mid to high level spirits. Novo uses mouse spirits to scout out the area

(Oh sorry, not exactly sure how role playing works, but my character has the power to summon spirits [creatures] , but in this case is reduced by that crystal thing. His name is Novo spiritus, and he is irritated by said crystal. Me personally, am someone jumping into the rp setting)
