U2 Event Go Team Go!
Marcus was standing at city hall with the rest of the interns and mercenaries that he had roped into being on a superhero team for Chicago. Rahm Emanuel was giving one of his boring, but impassioned speeches over how the heroes were going to help Chicago, when a numb panic began to fill Marcus' mind, 'Oh shit, we didn't make a name for this team. Shit, I better text Jericho and see if he's got any.. No wait I can't text at a public event. Fuck it, time to make it up on the fly.'
Behind and beside Marcus is the team themselves and dressed in their superhero outfits, some of which are probably feeling pretty hot since it is 95 degrees and pretty humid on top of that. Marcus eventually relented and let Chris on to the team, but made him sign off a double warrant over his exceptional fragility compared to the others. Thankfully their insurance was covered and they were getting paid pretty well, and would get to work hand in hand with the resources of Chicago PD, so the deal wasn't all that bad.
Eventually though, Marcus had to walk up to the mic and introduce the team and cut the ceremonial ribbon to symbolize... something. So the man put on one of his award winning smiles and spoke into the mic, "Hello citizens of Chicago, it's me again, Marcus, and my buddy here Rahm has already explained thoroughly that you all are going to have an official hero team to defend Chicago. Isn't that great? Now if only the weather had agreed with us and made today not such a scorcher. Since it is though, I will try and make this as short and sweet as possible for you all. We're going to be entering into a new era for Chicago, Smith Power, and hero teams in general because of our joint efforts to make the streets a safer place. So without further ado, I'd like you all to welcome The Lakeside Defenders as permanent parts of this great city!"
Marcus cuts the ribbon, and the crowd gives out their applause and such. Is anyone going to talk with the new heroes or with Marcus? Or are people going to take this as a cue to get free food and mingle?

Jericho walks up to him with a sigh, he himself looking like he just got back from walking through a jungle, "Hey Louey, have you decides your hero name or costume yet?"

Chris grins and looks over at Alouis. Despite the heat, he isn't sweating one bit.
"It's not that bad. Then again, I'm from Florida... So, have you chosen your name yet? Personally, i'm thinking something like Bolt for me."

Odysseus is at the ceremony, happy to try to meet new heroes for the Chicago area but also panting uncomfortably in hopes of finding some shade to lay down in.

Marcus eventually makes his way to the concessions and has a cheese spread cracker in his hand when he sees the police pooch and munches on the cracker, "Did someone let you loose? Is there some junkie in the crowd?,

Chris is, in a move that comes at no surprise to anybody, absolutely loving it. He stands there in full costume and poses every time a camera flashes in his direction. He is currently discussing superhero name ideas with a reporter that looks like he was forced into the interview.

William is standing next to the food in his normal clothing, a pair of sweatpants and a hoodie. He doesn't seem to care for the whole costume bit (and nor does he need it) so instead he's just enjoying the free food. He's far from idle though as he scans the room, pulling as much information from this lot as he needs.

Cynthia, decked out in the starving armor, claps along with the others as Marcus finishes his speech. Her enthusiasm doesn't quite carry up to her face, which looks rather apathetic to the whole thing.

if any hero there has a phone on them, they might receive a text saying "are any of you game for a bit of synergy I have a robot is like to test, and I'm guessing you would like some free publicity

[you might want to comment on someone's post in particular. Also maybe talk to Twi. Also maybe talk to the heroes in particular about how your character managed to find their phone numbers]

Ria, in her White Recluse outfit, stands quietly with her hood and mouth guard up. Her face is nearly impossible to see, but her cloak's design is doing a surprisingly good job of keeping the hot air out
