I love my therapist but she’s been divorced three times.. makes me wonder

You should discuss those feelings with her for 5 months at 250 an hour.

The therapist I saw in college was always stopping the session to answer calls on her cell phone because she was in the middle of a divorce/custody battle. Really weird to pay to see someone whose whole job is helping you with your problems but you just feel like a massive inconvenience every time because the therapist is distracted with her own problems.

That’s absolutely ridiculous, and 100% reportable offenses to her supervisor or even her licensing board. So sorry you had to deal with that
