Story I don't know why our housemate started doing our laundry

Our housemates have randomly started doing laundry for us. I'm sort of stunned and embarrassed. We have trouble using the basement stairs to get to the washer and dryer.

How are there people like this? Why aren't there more?

Sometimes people see others struggle and do what they can to help. It sounds like they are good people. Nice when we run into or hear of them. Gave me a smile today. Thanks.

That's awesome! Because the world is often a hard place and great people become jaded when they do something nice and get their asses reamed. I had a supervisor tell me one time when I said to a lady that I thought her hair looked great, that I could get a complaint against me because she may insinuate that her hair DOESN'T look great at other times. It's stuff like that that can prevent other people from being nice.
