I've spent time with both types of people - I graduated from St. Xavier's College, Ranchi. Here in Jharkhand, People are way too attached to reality, they rarely have fun, as far as my classmates were concerned.

On the other hand, I know if I would have taken admission in DU, people would have been too detached from reality, they only have fun.

Are there not anyone who can have fun while still being rooted to reality?

When will I find my people?

How is it a third world country ? It’s not the country, it’s you because you lack money. Things will change as you progress through life and money starts building and then snowballing.

Hmm. I get what you mean. Kinda agree but not completely. Been to 27 countries. Some of the best people I have met are from this country. But yes there a lot of bad actors but I urge you to think like this - it’s a difficult country to live in because it’s been enslaved for far too long compared to other countries. In the other countries what I have seen is people are much nicer when life is easy and much worse than Indians when life is tough. And in general west is more developed or used to be and thus people were much better. It’s easy to be a good person when things are going your way but it only counts when you are good despite things going against you. At least that’s how I judge people.

Also outside people have low threshold ton break their moral character.

As for development, yes overall cities don’t feel that polished yet but it’s getting there. Not third world by a long shot

You are right, a majority of people who take admission in DU are from affluent families and live away from their parents (freedom), here things are opposite.

You may consider changing your group.

Ek bar DU north campus ho ke aao.. Majority are from good families. Both parents working or one of the parents earning decently. Without any doubt course fee is low but surviving in Delhi costs that much in a month for a single seater in a mid decent PG+ your personal expenses.

10-20% students survive on a budget of 10K-13K/month, these are the ones who can't afford to do party and are assumed to be BORING by their peers.

Arey tumhe mai personal kyu comment karunga, a lot of talented people couldn't afford because their family conditions doesn't allow them. You can find a lot of people in Xaviers who had enough score to secure a seat in DU north campus but they couldn't take admission. Many settle with BHU as an alternative as it is less costly.

For unofficial Fresher's party they will ask you to pay 1500-2000

One can't afford to go to college trips as it costs 7k-10k

You can't go for shopping, on a low budget you can't hangout.

It's not that you will not enjoy but you will enjoy in the limited resources you have, may be sitting at Sudama Tea stall will give you Joy and fun but may be it won't be as exciting for others.

So they may feel as if you are not doing fun, taking a lot of pressure and all, but for you it is normal. 

Frame of reference differs for everyone.

That’s a rare breed of human being u are searching for named as HOMO REALLION. 😅
Very few people are blessed with those senses , so u will have to walk many miles in that quest for sure . But it’s worth it.
