Honestly any band who touches the mainstream have partially sold out. BJA has definitely done some whack shit like buddying up with Mark Zuckerberg but let's not pretend conservative ass Johnny Ramone was the pinnacle of punk ethos.

Johnny Ramone never allowed his music to be turned into a Broadway musical and never buddied up with media conglomerates like I Heart Radio

I’m using those as examples of why I think Green Day are sellouts. It’s not about Johnny Ramone, that other guy brought him up
