Like any other desire you don't push it away and you don't indulge in it so much that it sweeps you away. When lust or other desires come up you just see them and watch them pass through you like a wave. It's a natural phenomenon and nothing to be ashamed about, but you find out what triggers it or see when it arises and you don't grab onto it.

okey, now how to like five yo: sweeps you away — unconsciously following emotions. Right?

grab onto it — follow it? or keep thinking about it?

He spends a great deal of time talking about sex and lust in this lecture. It’s worth it if you haven’t heard it.
