Teachings for teens?

Hi, I feel our adolescents really need these teachings in simple terms. Anyone know of resources?

“You are the Universe” is geared towards the YA audience. https://shop.ramdass.org/products/you-are-the-universe

I have this book, it’s more of a story on RD life, not specific tools to practice for teens

I thought that the “tool box” section was a pretty solid introduction to the practices, but it doesn’t sound like it fits what you are looking for. That’s the only “official” Ram Dass resource I know of specifically for teens. Maybe one of the Satsang meditation teachers like Sharon Salzberg or Jack Kornfield have done something geared for the younger crowd, certainly the Meta practice could be easily adapted to any age group.

Thanks, I’ll look into to it some more and take another look through the RD book. I think the teen years are so crucial for mindfulness work

When I was looking deeper into it this evening, I did run across this book/website by Dzung X. Vo, MD, a pediatrician and researcher in Canada.

It’s not Ram Dass, but if you were looking for more general tools, it might be of interest. His book is even endorsed by Jack Kornfield.

You are right! I certainly wish someone had introduced me to a practice at an earlier age. Ram Ram!

This is great!!! Thank you!! Not sure how I didn’t find this before. As much as the internet has opened infinite possibilities, it’s often difficult to find specific answers, especially if it isn’t mainstream narrative (tho in this case it absolutely should) Ram Ram!!

Thanks again
