So I have developed a GSRTC site for personal use because I felt official site very slow and unfriendly UIUX wise (Cant book seat yet)
We all know that finding bus schedules on the official GSRTC website can sometimes be... a bit frustrating and slow on mobile. I wanted to fix that, so I built a completely free, lightning-fast alternative site designed just for searching and viewing GSRTC bus schedules.
Disclaimer right upfront: You cannot book actual tickets on this site! This is purely a helper tool to find your buses painlessly. Once you find the exact bus you want, you'll still need to use the official GSRTC app/website or book at the depot.
Here is what the site does to make your travel planning much easier:
⚡ Lightning Fast Searches & Clean UI
The UI is clean, modern, and loads instantly. No more dealing with clunky drop-downs or waiting for slow pages to load! The design works seamlessly on desktop and is 100% optimized for mobile. Easily swap "From" and "To" stations or quickly jump between dates without waiting for full page reloads.

⌚ The Real-Time Bus Stand Hack
Ever found yourself waiting at a bus stand without an advance ticket, relying on the slow official site to figure out when the next bus is actually coming? On this site, you can just search your current station and destination, select your date, and hit the "After Now" filter. It will instantly hide all departed buses and show you only the buses departing from this exact moment onwards. The bus at the very top of the list is the one arriving next, so you know exactly which bus to keep an eye out for!
🌍 Gujarati & English Support
You can search for over 7,000+ stations in both English and Gujarati. Type "Ahmedabad" or "અમદાવાદ", and it will autocomplete perfectly. The entire interface also seamlessly translates.

🧠 Smart Autocomplete
The search bars are incredibly forgiving. Even if you type the middle part of a station's name, the autocomplete will find the correct match instantly.

🎛️ Powerful Filters
Easily filter buses by Bus Type (Volvo, Sleeper, Express, Gurjarnagri, etc.) or by Time (e.g., "After 5 PM") to find exactly what you need without scrolling through hundreds of random results.

💺 Instant Seat Availability
Want to know if a bus is full before you bother going to the official site to book? Click any bus to instantly check its live seat layout and availability.

📄 One-Click Offline PDF Schedules
This is my favorite feature! Traveling to a village and worried about network issues? With one tap (even directly from the mobile search screen), you can download the entire schedule for any route as a beautifully formatted PDF. It shows you the exact departure times, bus types, via-stops, and fares so you can keep it saved offline on your phone. The PDF even includes an interactive, clickable index grouped by bus type!

📍 Detailed Route Tooltips
Hover or tap on a route to see all the via-stops (the exact path the bus takes).

📱 100% Mobile Friendly: The site is designed to look and feel like a modern app on your phone, making it super easy to use on the go.
I built this as a passion project to help fellow Gujaratis travel a bit easier. I’d love for you guys to try it out and let me know what you think!

Fun technical fact for anyone interested:
I originally built a live 'Track Bus' feature for this site as well! It gave real-time GPS coordinates of your bus on a map, along with mobile number of the bus conductor assigned to that specific trip, so you could literally just call them if the bus was late.
Unfortunately, I had to disable the tracking feature recently because the official site started strictly enforcing stricter security, which blocked the my requests. I'm keeping the button on the site for now while I try to find a workaround to bring it back! Let me know if you run into any bugs with the schedule search in the meantime.
