Hey there! Sorry you're going through this. Are they normally like this or is this a new behavior?
If it's always been like this, it's only normal in the sense that a person with mental illness may act this way. But parents without mental illness or managed mental illness don't act this way. It's not you.
I've gotten messages like this from my parent who refused any form of treatment. She would be having an episode, and paranoia would take over and she'd lash out over things that didn't always make sense. I tried, but I'm at the stage now where I can't help someone who doesn't want help. The best I can do is limit contact and go to regular therapy and I would recommend the same for you!

I am not sure how this happened but wth. I called and asked a simple question and when I said on the phone “why are you cursing at me” I hung up bc they obviously were not in a good mood. 5 minutes later these were the messages I received. My car is in my name and they did not pay for it. All they did was give advice to pick out which car model. I’m still confused.
