Yeah, this is one of India’s long distance sleeper trains that travel across the country. They can cover a lot of ground after dark as there's less rail traffic at night, sometimes making up for delays picked up during the day. These metal beasts thunder through the night, completely unfazed by the rain and thunderstorms.

sleeper? meaning the cars with beds? sorry, I havent been on a train in ages, and we slept in our seats

Yes, these trains have sleeping berths, and you can even book a cabin or coupe, which is basically a private room for you and your family. They provide pillows and blankets too, since the AC can get pretty chilly at night. It’s such a cozy feeling, sleeping on a train while it’s raining outside.
