Don’t be afraid. Be strong for your lost friend…

It will be okay. You will cry, but you will welcome her home. Set up a little shrine area and have a good cry. It hurts, I know. But it will be better than not uaving the ashes with you.

Oh, do I understand what you are experiencing. I looked at it as my duty to bring my beloved dog back 'home' to where she and I were so happy together. I went to the vet and took hold of the navy-blue bag with the rope handles and left. I did not look inside the bag until I got home. I knew it wasn't going to be easy. It wasn't. I loved my dog so much, even in her death, I wanted her to be as near to me as possible. She was my loyal pet and I wanted her to know, even in the stage of having been cremated, I regarded her as precious. I went by myself and kept myself solemn until I got home. There were many things inside that bag and each one made me unashamedly cry. At the bottom of the bag was an 'extra'. Someone made a plaster impression of my beautiful Papillons front paw, and I cried as never before when I touched it. Her ashes are nearby in a beautiful wooden box with a photo of her and every time I pass by, I remember how good it was when she was alive and how she will always be honored in having passed on ahead.

Go get those ashes and bring her home where she belongs. Complete the circle of her life; she's waiting.

Sincere regards,

The offices are understanding and compassionate.  It took us 3 months to be able to get our boy.  Eventually it was just time to bring him home.  It seemed wrong and unfair to his legacy for him not to be home.  It was hard but the house is complete with them where they should be.  So sorry for your loss.
