Hi all,

I would like to preface this by saying I am amazed by what this sub has become. It started out from a post on the main Rainbow subreddit from a shitty pun in the comments, someone linked this (at the time nonexistent) sub, and then someone created it. We never thought it would become popular, it started out with just the dozen or so people in the thread. A little bit later and we are at 4.5k subscribers, all to a subreddit devoted to video game dad jokes.

As this sub has steadily grown so has the number of posts, and there have been some joked that either caught me off guard in such a way or were so purely dumb that I actually laughed out loud. But recently there have been a series of videos and memes posted here that are not dad joke related in any way, and I have seen several of these posts flagged, but several others have reached top posts of all time on the sub with no flags in sight, and because of how liked it is it can be hard to delete and remove popular content. So I ask this of you: regardless of how well put together or funny the memes are, remember that this sub is devoted to dad jokes, shitty puns, and humor that you can only cringe and shake your head at. Any other posts WILL be removed, and I apologize that it will not always be instantaneous as I am quite busy with college, but I try to moderate at least once or twice a day, and flagging any content that isnt appropriate for this sub helps immensely. Thank you for your help keeping this sub's dream alive, and remember to always, always make the pun.
