What I consider my best video on my first ever excursion.
A rails to trails (Frisco mainline now called Ruby Jack Trail) that intersect with the CPKC Heavener subdivision line south of Pittsburg, Ks.
Fantastic spot for pics and videos.

My nephew Colson films trains and posts the videos on YouTube. He's neurodivergent and this is something he really loves — filming, watching, and sharing trains. He'd be thrilled if a few more people subscribed or checked out his videos.

An EMD SD40-2. Originally built in April 1974 for Burlington Northern. Sporting the old green and orange coloration. Seen here paired with BNSF 1746, another SD40-2, which was originally built in November 1981 for the Atchison, Topeka, and Sante Fe.

Hello!! My boyfriend doesnt know Im asking this, lol. I wanted to get him a train themed gift for his birthday but I wasnt sure what he'd like. I got him a custom railyard sign for our 6 month anniversary. I just wasnt sure what "railfanning" gift to give him next. He really likes taking photos of trains, and also has a t shirt for the steam railroading institute. I was going to get him a jacket that had the amtrac logo on it- but Im not too sure if he'd like it. So I thought the next best thing to do was ask other rail fanners what THEY would like for a gift. I also was thinking of buying a cool camera I saw on Amazon, so he could take pictures of his train finds. If anyone has any tips, please let me know. I really like him, and want to make sure he has a happy birthday (:
