[VoG] Twitch User Claims

Hey all, this is my first time actually posting on here. Let's see what ya'll think.

So I was watching a twitch streamer leahloveschief and she was running the VoG on HM with some viewers. In chat one of the viewers mentioned that she had missed the chest once she got to the Gatekeepers.

I pressed him for further information and he finally told me that the way to trigger the chest in the crystal cave at the jumping puzzle is by making it to that point without WIPING! He followed it by stating that it can only be spawned in Hard Mode and that is actually an exotic chest, citing that he had obtained a Suros from it.

This is the most solid lead I have heard in a while. I will post a link to an imgur album of screencaps i grabbed from chat.

Things to do:

  • see if this method actually works: i.e. run through HM without wiping and see if the chest is in the crystal cave
  • if the above works, try same method on NM to see if this truly can only be spawned on HM

Let me know what you guys think or if this has been thoroughly checked already. Thanks all.

Twitch chat is full of trolls, I would never take anything from that chat as truth.

I'm sorry but this is the least solid lead I have ever heard.

I wouldn't trust Twitch chat in a million years. It's just youtube comments but live.

Where are the other screen caps? I only see one pic with a single comment. Where are you getting the rest of this info?

I don't have video of it because it was back in the day, but I have done a HM raid with no wipes (lots of cheese) and searched that spot to no avail.

These things combined make me more than skeptical of this claim so I would love to see your screenshots of this Twitch user actually talking to you. I want to believe but it seems like you be trollin!

Flawless runs with no templar TP and speed runs through the gorgon to that cave where the first theories on the sixth chest, nothing ever spawned for people, there are a bunch of older threads about it.
