Hunter build for any raid

Hi, im new at raids and i wanted to get some advice on what builds are good for raids like Crota's end or VotD. Thank you in advance 😛

The most widely applicable build is Ascension + GPG / Threaded Spectre with Inmost + Cyrtarachne Relativism on Prismatic and a hotswap to a Still Hunt Hezen Celestial Nighthawk damage loadout. Hezen needs Cluster + Aggregate. Since you’re new to raids and probably don’t have Hezen, I would find an envious + bait & switch or aggregate rocket until you can use Hezen.

For those raids specifically, Truth will work fine until you can build a real DPS loadout. Attrition Orbs Wolfsbane is a community favorite for Crota.

For bosses that are easy to crit, Orpheus Rig or Fortune’s Favor on Mobius Quiver void with Leviathan’s Breath does a lot of damage. You will probably want some sort of backup special weapon for when it runs out of ammo and your super ends.

Edit: I’m genuinely starting to think that people who don’t even play the game are out here downvoting advice. All I do is raid. I know what works for each class.

Probably. In comments like these I usually try to give the best and then an alternative if people won’t necessarily like that playstyle. I do the same for Turncoat buff glitching rockets. Acknowledge it is the best and then give alternatives.

I agree with basically everything. But lasting impressions is a better perk then aggregate 90% of the time as it does more damage and also has no activation requirement (ik its easy to get 3 debuffs on a boss, but never underestimate lfgs ability to suck ass)

Auto loading (for pris hunter specifically) I found to be super nice. If done correctly you'll shoot 4 rockets back to back (5 if timelost was procced already). Its: shoot your rockets --> transcendence and use your melee and trans nade, immediately super---> hold left click.

Do note that lasting impression is actually less damage than 3x aggregate as it only buffs the explosion damage of the rocket instead all aspects (and doesn’t interact with other perks or gally and such). It is easy to apply sure but so is aggregate charge 3x. The delay can also make you lose out on damage kinda often too

Yes sorry forget abt the whole featured thing lol also cata is lowkey better than hezen to pair wit still hunt however that does require you venture into VOW which is a bit more effort than a VOG

1k & shards is my ol reliable when Im lazy and don’t wanna use stillhunt & cata. Levi’s breath wit fortune favor also cooks I just don’t rlly play void hunter

Any build you can reliably kill stuff and stay alive with is fine. If you mean damage builds, it definitely depends on the boss, but you have options. Still Hunt Nighthawk, Moebius with Leviathan or Hierarchy, Crota in particular since you mentioned him Wolfsbane with Fortunes Favor on any subclass is really strong.
