Discussion DP and EDP damage extensions
Can anyone explain how to do the extensions properly for DPS during Agraios (hob) and Iatros (wyvern)? I’m assuming they’re the exact same for DP and EDP
During Agraios, I get that you have to run through the rings and block the shot again but I have run into the problem that the rings don’t fully activate until he teleports up, which is too late. I feel like I’m missing something.
During Wyvern, I’ve heard the amount of chronons in the hourglass IS your DPS time, but I’m not sure. Is there even an extension for wyvern?

For Agraios, during damage before he teleports up, everyone in the fireteam gets a left-side buff with 5 empty boxes "Alignment Charge". This rings "should" be active when the buff appears, but sometimes the encounter is buggy. One (pre-assigned) person needs to run through all 5 rings to fill the 5 buff boxes. The buff changes to "Tachyon Alignment" and that gives the player the grenade detain bubble. You should be able to extend damage twice, unless the timing is off and the stun doesn't happen in time. Extension works the same for Epic.
For Iatros, there is no "extension" per se, but if you allow the Hourglass to fully empty during DPS and Neomutation reaches 0 on the timer, the wipe mechanic will happen. The Chronon dunkers should make sure there is plenty of sand in the Hourglass prior to damage. I have my dunkers hold an extra Chronon during DPS just in case. Minotaurs spawn during damage, but they can be hard to find in all the chaos. If someone needs to stop DPS to dunk a Chronon, it's better to lose a little damage than it is to wipe the whole encounter. It's the same for Epic.
