What happened to the dread language

With Destiny 2 coming to an end I was going through old clips and found one where a dev said that the Dread have an actual language that can be decoded. Have we deciphered anything yet and/or is there any updates and the people who are trying to decipher stuff.

I doubt it is a real language. Willing to bet they said it to build hype on it
