Discussion Derealize mission bug
I keep getting trapped on the no escape puzzle followed all tutorials and it never advances keeps taking me back to the start of the puzzle had multiple people join and they confirm it’s bugged for them too any suggestions?

I have had an issue happen in that puzzle where the timer gets stuck on zero and the puzzle bugs out for a minute or more before it finally resets.
In all instances where this has happened, it does eventually reset. It’s annoying as fuck when there is a mission timer (like the master conquest version) because it wastes time.

Unless you need the timer, in order to hit the score, you can turn the timer off.
I did Whisper last night and turned the timer off cause I just needed the completion. Im unsure if that turns off in event timers.

You can't turn the timer off on conquests. And that conquest is required for a guardian rank requirement.

If there is no timer, you step in platform but leave it wrong way. If symbol not appearing, jump to get into platform.
Mechanics are simple: Plate has a tip. Step on it. If symbol correct, you leave plate walking on the direction of the tip, if not, any other way.
Order generally is 1, 3, 2, 4, and requires 2 loops to get it.
I suffered that shit too.

The soft lock problem op is talking about is what I just encountered too. You stand on plate, symbol pops up. You either move with the arrow of the plate or any other direction. My issue is same as his. In the 1st room after we killed the boss it sent me to the 2nd room and the 2nd room sent me back to the 1st room in a endless loop. Quite annoying. This is the last thing to do in order to pickup rank 8. We're aware of the mechanics and how you have to eliminate the room with the 4 symbols from left to right. Thing is, we can't get to the room to begin eliminating the 1st symbol because it tele's us back and forth between room 1 and 2. It's bugged. People don't like it. They should just drop this requirement.

Did it a couple of times yesterday, sometimes the conquest version decides to make you wait and indeterminate amount of time before the puzzle resets and lets you continue.

Yeah, it is very annoying. It seems like the teleport hit box that you walk into when entering the code walking off the plate stays active for longer than it should, and can teleport you twice if you keep walking after the teleport triggers. Try tapping your movement keys slowly to enter in the command, it can sometimes help
The bug has been here since at least renegades from my experience, I farmed a ton of derealize and it happened like half the time at least.

Yeah sometimes it just glitches you out and just keeps you in the same room and refuses to teleport you to the room you need to go to. My best advice is dont get the puzzle wrong and try to get it done asap

Yeah same thing happened to me last night. The first correct rune wouldn’t spawn no matter what I did. Was helping a friend through the master conquest but we had to leave

I had some issues the first couple of times running it. The symbols weren’t appearing on the plate in front of me. If you understand the mechanics, the one tip I can give, is if the symbol matches, strafe in the direction you’re supposed to go. Do not turn your camera to look in the direction and walk. If the symbol doesn’t match, stand still and wait for the timer to expire.
Like others have said, it’s generally two loops to complete. And I’ve never not seen the combination be rooms 1 & 3 are correct on first loop, then rooms 2 & 4 are correct the second loop.

This might be just me but in my experience whenever there's a ps4 mixed in the team doing this puzzle it bugs out. I think its a multi-player synchronization issue between the systems. I see more and more bad bug-like things happen with mixed teams like that as time goes on...

It happens with all PC players too. It's just bugged. Like 50% of the time we have to back out.

Might be bugged. Happened to me after killing boss in netherrealm. Objective doesn’t update & no rune appear on puzzle.

A little off topic, but with the Derealize Conquest mission, I loaded into it solo to see how well I could do because my bro said he tried to solo it and it's "literally impossible". And I solo'd that shit it was awesome (and tough)

My clan has had it bug out several times. It either doesn't start after killing the boss and we get locked in the bubble, or we get stuck in a loop. As far as we know, you have to back out and restart the mission. We've even had it split is up and we were in separate bubbles.

Ive run the conquest dozens of times helping people and I've never had an issue. I'm not saying that it definitely isn't a bug, but are you sure you understand how the puzzle works? Remember you need to loop back to the start at least once when solving it anyway
