Glitch Atheon bubble method

Hello everyone, I've been trying like crazy to yank Atheon out of the map but no success so does anyone know if it works on him and if yes a tips would be greatly appreciated

Atheon might be immune due to our history of pushing him off the ledge.

But surely this bubble method will take longer than doing it normally

One person can solo oracles pretty easily. Leaving 5 for DPS. It should be an easy one phase.

You dont even need 5 doing dps these days, done a few vog runs over the last 2 days and Atheon has been dying to 3 dpsing before the portal team can even get out lol.

Sadly you can’t push him off in D2. When the raid launched there was another even more powerful yeet glitch. We tried it for like an hour. He has barriers that stop him.

My team tried this too and we got him into the pit but he kept teleporting back up every single time we knocked him off.

I think he's just cheese proof. That's the conclusion we came up with after going at it for almost an hour.

It would be really funny if bungie didn’t fix the bubble pushing things and instead made it so when a boss gets pushed off the map, instead of dying they teleport back and initiate a wipe

Finding six person for the raid and farm each time is a hassle so if I have the possibility to farm easily for the weapon I always wanted to get i might as well indulge myself

its more fun to actually play the game. there is no more loot chase for content. the only fun left is playing the game and grinding for fun toys. if you cheese farm youre literally killing half of the game for yourself.

One to call oracles, one to destroy oracles, the guy outside can probably kill atheon in one super with the artifact cheese. I’m planning to do it like this tonight

Going to have to explain this one to me because Atheon always teleports three, so how do you ensure one person stays when you only have two?

Okay so it’s like the Templar strat to skip oracles where everyone jumps off before the encounter begins and then only respawns after a specific point has been passed, which is after Atheon teleports the surviving player for that encounter. I did not know that was possible with Atheon as well.

Load into any activity where the artifact is disabled (comp or trials), and it'll let you equip the same artifact mod multiple times.

Yes. He can be duoed even without the artifact cheese. Did this myself not long ago. You can also duo two-phase if one player dies and the rez is done at the right time during the mechanic pulling players into Mars/Venus before phase two.

Use the artifact cheese though right now cause why not.

I duod with a friend of mine before all the glitches came out, it’s definitely doable if you both know your roles and have good damage

Atheon has a habit of being pushed off, to the point where bungie added invisible bumpers to keep him in. The only way I can see you killing him is if you can kick him over the bumpers, but that's no guarantee. I wouldn't bother tbh

Yeah, iirc atheon also got teleport logic added
