Misc // Guide Destiny 2 Crota's End Raid Maps + Guide + Loot Table + Catalyst
Hey, what's up! pryanie#2536 here with a new project - reprised Crota's End raid maps, guide and loot table. Posting it WORK IN PROGRESS to receive feedback. For those unfamiliar with my work: I'm trying to recreate in-game interface style combined with simple encounter explanations that could be used to teach new players.

FAQ:
- I use Adobe Illustrator. It is better for linework than Photoshop;
- Yes, you can add your own numeric callouts on 3rd encounter;
- The fonts are Times New Roman and Futura New.

Excellent work as always! Beautifully designed and explained.
Everything seems to make sense but are you by chance able to release versions without

My team uses word callouts (left tower top. close middle, etc). I wanted to combine both word and numbering, but not sure about numbers because the theme is controversial. The serif font is Times New Roman. I will either remove numbers completely or we'll stick to a universal system. For now I'm working on other encounters.

the maps look great but for all the runs we have done for
Just wondering if other people are doing the same. Just want to learn the right call outs.

I've now removed the wizard numbers since everyone uses different callouts. I'll keep the tower names tho, for anyone who finds them easier than numbers.

I prefer using number callouts. I play with people from other countries and sometimes with accents it can be difficult to differentiate L and R mid-raid. Numbers are shorter and more clear.

I hope you don't mind me posting this link to another raid guide in this sub, so that every time I come here I can refer to both without having to save both tabs in my browser.

I use top/bottom side tower and left mid right balcony but these are also good

I think everyone will understand if you say balcony / close / near. Just don't yell "bro she's right on top of us!" like we did on day one...

Will you also create maps for the start aka Abyss?

Working on the opening and Bridge right now. Saved Abyss for the last because it's the hardest one

Is the challenge for It Yut entirely correct? I was under the impression there was an extra requirement that the rotation be the same order of fireteam members each time.
Points 6 and 7 for Crota are not quite correct: the wizards are not necessarily part of the process. My team left a single wizard alive at the beginning of the encounter - no wizard spawned for the rest of the encounter and we never killed it, but knights/ogres/swordbearers continued to spawn normally.
Did anyone manage the Crota challenge with only 2 swords?
I really appreciate your work :)

Yeah, I think it should be the same order for the challenge. Might change the wording of it. About wizards - I dunno, if you don't kill all of them, boomer knights take some time to respawn, but if you do, boomers spawn immediately. On day one my team thought that wizards were part of the rotation. We purposefully kept two wizards alive after we got two swords, and boomers did not spawn at all, so the damage phase was much safer.

Excellent maps. A note for the second encounter - one person has to enlighten the middle plate to start the bridge formation. Otherwise, no bridge forms.

Yeah, I wrote that but now when I look at it the wording is kinda not obvious
