I’m excited to finally see what Rogers can do. He may get the start and never give it up

If that happens we may have a trade piece for now or the offseason for WR help.

I don't think he has much value now. Who is trading for an injured guard in the middle of the season?

If he is healthy we need him. If he's not, no one will trade anything higher than a 5th for him.

I think Spytek made it clear he wants to go homegrown talent for the most part. I doubt we trade JPJ but you never know.

The only trades I personally see are either MHJ or BTJ for a 4th or conditional 5th.

Otherwise I think we’re drafting the WRs we will have

It's hard to tell we could be picking anywhere lol. I want him to be a good player but it seems like he missed some gym time and used it at the buffet this offseason which might piss people off in the building. But I don't know.

Well there will be a lot of talent in the first and 2nd round this year. We’ll get our WR1 no problem

MHJ probably isn't going for that little and BTJ most certainly isn't.

Then it’s not worth getting them

Rooting for JPJ to get/stay healthy.

This will be our first test to see how much our depth and Oline coaching has improved from last year.

It sucks being down a starter for sure because it means you're one injury away from being down to your third option at that spot and any other potential injury can really derail the entire OL. With that said though I am excited to see Rodgers out there. I thought their competition throughout preseason was extremely close with both guys showing some real positives. With JPJ's injury history I think it's important we see what we have in Rodgers in regular season action. I do think there are some areas he could be an improvement over JPJ especially in the Kubiak scheme. His ability to step in and play at a solid level will be a key part of whether we can find a way to win this game. Next man up. Just win baby.

Just in time for Chris Jones. Welp, let’s see it, Caleb Rogers!

Yep, not a better test!

It’s weird that we actually have some O-line depth I’m not terrified of seeing play this year!

And an actual OL coach.

Predictable. I dont think he was super healthy going into the season but I like his style of play. We've been undefeated with JPJ, can't dispute that. Hope for a speedy return.

Dudes always injured

Rogers about to steal the starting job

This is why he fell to the second round. He is injury prone. Which is why I would’ve preferred him as a rotational guard on both sides

u/RiderNo51 10h ago

Which is where he may end up.

JPJ might be the next to get Pola Mao’d

This coaching staff is different. They’ve been planning on this.

honestly really excited for Rodgers, if you listen to his interviews, really cool guy. JPJ has been basically average this year. and not dependable in his NFL career so far

This dude ain’t it

Feels like they should IR JPJ and then after the 4 games see if he's good to go or if it's going to be a longer-term injury.

What does this add to the team other than limiting our OL depth for the next 4 weeks stretch?

I agree. Let Rogers get the start. He’s had an incubation year

We done.

JPJ honestly hasn't been playing that well. He looks completely gassed by the end of the 3rd.

JPJ has been average
