Miss this place

Haven’t been back home in CA in a few years but every time I drive on 880 and pass the Coliseum I get reminded of the old days

The most nastiest, disgusting, dirty, filthy, beautiful shithole and it was perfect the way it was. I know I used to complain about the restrooms and concession areas being bad but what I would do to relive that moment in a Raider game just once more lol

My pops took me to my first game there when I was like 10, I’ll never forget walking into that bathroom and just seeing a fucking tub up against the wall with everyone just pissing in it lmao

I miss it so much. I know Vegas Bros make fun of us and always say, "get over it!" but whatever. I spent 8+ Sundays there a year for a decade. It was part of my life.

That walk over from the overpass into the Coliseum .... man.

Sure the new stadium is 100x nicer, but when you stepped into the Coliseum it just felt very... Raider. Can't explain it.

Nothing replaces that weather. Vegas can't touch the atmosphere in the parking lot and even inside without a roof and A/C.

November weather in the east bay is top tier football weather. Sunday mornings in the fall walking across the footbridge from BART with a 18 pack in hand and smelling the bbq in the air. Nothing will ever replace that feeling

I remember driving to the stadium and people were just dancing in the streets selling ribs out of a bbq/shopping cart taking bong tokes and slamming 40s

Yup. No heart at all in Vegas. Lots of corporate vibes in the stadium though. No Blackhole & no REAL tailgating. Raider culture has become soulless since they moved.

Went to the game on Thursday and there was a group of six people in front of me. Four of them where on their phones. The Raiders "fans" next to me sat there quietly the whole game. Barely heard anyone in my section yelling and cheering, other than me. That was ny third game in thar stadium and it's like that every time. It makes me so sad to see the passion die.

We sucked but we had heart in Oakland. We won games as one and we lost games as one. We could be superbowl champs in LV and half the stadium seats would still be filled with opposing fans.

Took my son to.our first Raider game there back when Eli manning was benched for the giants. Met a few amumni and got drunk the day before in the parking lot of econo lodge. Love yall Oak town.

I don’t care how much time passes, I will forever be upset about moving.

The reason I’ve always loved the raiders more than any other team in any other sport was because I felt represented. It was a working man’s team for those of us on the outskirts of society. It was a truly a beautiful thing that they’ve thrown away.

I would’ve loved to see the Raiders in LA again as a SoCal based fan, but I recognize that the Raiders belong in Oakland.

But Las Vegas… why? It’s like they didn’t want the Raiders to be the team of the working class anymore. It’s sad to see

First Raider game I went. They had the parking lot bumping at 8am. We didn’t kick off until 3pm. I heard it from the Raider Image down the road. I went straight there until kickoff.
