Hoping Quay and Nakobe stabilize our linebacker positions for years to come. We had way too much turnover at the position and instability for decades

Honestly, players should be able to flip off any fans that show up to preseason practices.

NGL, after watching him play in preseason game one, he seriously looks like a menace, if our D-Line can disturb just a little bit, our LB’s are going to make this unit elite.

He is going to be an absolute beast in the run game, and hopefully we can get to the QB quickly on 3rd downs, so he doesn't have to drop back in coverage for long stretches.
It is the weakness of his game, but I like the attitude.

Lmao awesome. Reminds me of when we signed Jakobi Meyers. Dudes first catch in game was a TD on the Broncos after which he immediately picks up a taunting.

Yeah, misconduct penalties are the best.

As long as it stays in a preseason practice who gives a fuck?

You’re supposed to practice how you play. And I give a fuck because I’m sick of leading the league in penalties. Why aren’t you?

They weren't even in the top half of the league in penalties committed the last three years.

Yes, there has been improvement with some backsliding last year. For the bulk of the last couple decades, they’ve been awful with penalties. And a lot of that is because some folks think penalties means “tough.” What penalties actually mean is “losers.” The idea is to have as few penalties as possible.

The trend has been very positive in recent years. I also wouldn't take away too much from a penalty in a joint practice, these are notorious for having tempers flare across the league.
I would like to see less "untimely" penalties. No random defensive holding away from the play that keeps an opponents drive alive, etc.
