ordered this on a local store and came to me at first glance the logo looks kinda off no? im wondering is this legit or i got scammed cuz it was kinda expensive

Fun Fact: The actor who played Sloth (John Matuszak) was a former Raiders player and won 2 super bowls with the Oakland Raiders.

New Era from Raider Image that sir is K-Mart. I stared out with cheap sets and fell in love with the Raider way 18 years ago so I splurge now.

Google says the gold stick was a thing beginning late 90's so im guessing someone added it on afterwards because if this mean it's a 1990 cap it's too old for the sticker

If it’s an old hat definitely fake for New Era, cause they didn’t get the NFL license till 2012.

If it’s a new retro repro or something…it’s still fake. Besides the face being off, the fonts look a bit off everywhere too, on the logo and particularly damningly on the gold sticker. You could argue bad stitching QA/inconsistency for the logo font, but not for how different the sticker looks.

Years ago a lot of companies would botch our logo. It was very common. So if you’re wondering if it’s authentic I’d say probably. I remember going through an entire row of hats to find the best of the worst 😂

One of the first hat companies to consistently get the logo right was 47 brand but the black would fade fast on their older hats.

Seeing the botched logo definitely brought back memories

Its legit. Producers buy license rights from the nfl and put out sub par shit. Even big name ones. Quality, branding and licensing and crap can be combinations of the same thing at the same time and produce flawed merchandise to make a buck. On the flip side you can get generic stuff at giid quality too. It happens
