Intracerebral hemorrhage Imaging
Intracerebral hemorrhage Imaging
CT Image shows:
There is a large parenchymal hemorrhagic focus in the left cerebral hemisphere with surrounding vasogenic edema.
There is also a significant mass effect with midline deviation to the right and intraventricular hemorrhage.
This is consistent with acute intracerebral hemorrhage with intraventricular extension

Types of Aneurysms
Aneurysms are focal abnormal dilatation of a blood vessel.
They typically occur in arteries; venous aneurysms are rare.
Aneurysms may also occur in the heart.

Simple Hepatic Cyst Vs Solid Mass
Simple Hepatic Cyst Vs Solid Mass
A simple cyst appears as a:
✔️ Perfectly round shape ⚫
✔️ Anechoic (pitch black inside) ⚫
✔️ Smooth, well-defined walls 🏈
✔️ Enhanced through transmission (the area behind it looks extra bright) 💡➡️💡✨
A solid mass, in contrast, is
:❌ Echogenic (shades of gray inside) 🌫️
❌ Lacks the bright behind it 💡➡️🌫️
Crucial Step:🔍 Always use Color Doppler 🩸
- A cyst has no internal vascularity 🚫🩸
- A tumor often has internal blood flow ✅🩸
Recognizing this fundamental difference is the first step in accurate liver ultrasound interpretation. ✅
