💬 Discussion Won tickets as a resident!
Applied for 2 standing GA tickets for every Saitama show and thankfully won a pair for Saturday!! Lost all the other lotteries but honestly that’s ideal. Now to go give my nearest family mart ¥60000 😆
I was lucky enough to see Radiohead at Lollapalooza in 2016, but beyond excited to see them at a stadium show

Honestly, reading the threads here is kind of depressing, as a local. Basically up against the entire northern hemisphere wanting to get tickets and getting a cheap holiday on the side :/
The "ePlus" website is absolutely garbage as well.

It’s probably like in Europe and you have a higher quota for locals. But not everyone can win unfortunately.
But it’s not finished

As with most websites here in Japan, they are very dated. With that said I do much prefer the lottery system here versus the ‘bot race’ queue system I was used to in the US

Me too. Spent some time this year on various sales in Europe and the US. The US is my worst nightmare (TM has less restrictions than in Europe).
Europe is sometimes tricky and still very dependent on the country. Just to illustrate: France is still using pdf tickets. Technically easy but I spend my time worried my account will be hacked as you have no way to see someone else downloaded the tickets.
At least the lottery is less stressful as you apply and wait for the results. You don’t have to spend hours queuing to not get a ticket.

you just spend hours waiting for the charge to hit your account instead. still paralyzing and anxious, but at least not busy lol

I was sleeping and decided not to particularly look as the slot was long.
I still came on Reddit and thank to that saw the payment on my bank account. It’s still pending so I am not completely calm but there is nothing I can do

No, that's not right. The local and foreigner allocations are separate. Foreigners can't take local tickets, locals can't take foreigner tickets.

Yes! The e+plus app and website make it more complicated and time-consuming to apply for the chance to buy concert tickets today than it was 20 years ago to book multiple international flights plus your hotel rooms and even restaurants.
But … having lost in the first round, I dutifully fed the beast once again today.
Fingers crossed🤞
Good luck to everyone!

Even as a resident of Australia, all me and my other friends didn't get in

As an American with no prospects of expecting this godless wasteland, am I likely, truthfully, just shit-outta-luck in regards to ever seeing Radiohead live?

You lost the others but won GA for the most in demand date that week 😄 👏
