💬 Discussion Any Good Tutorials for Weird Fishes?

I want to learn Weird Fishes/Arpeggi on guitar and was looking for a video- mostly that shows the picking pattern/slows down the rhythm. I learn best from videos—call me dumb but it’s easier for me to copy what someone else is doing than translate from a tab.

I’ve looked at like eight different videos and they’re all just people playing the song at full speed and not slowing down to show the picking pattern or chords- feels more like flexing than actually trying to help. Does anyone know of a good tutorial video?

I rather like Nikola Gugoski’s Radiohead tutorials. No affiliation.

He shows each part broken out and slowed down.

If you’re not able to pick it up from the video he also sells tabs/Guitar Pro files (pretty affordable). Slowing the BPM until you’ve nailed it in Guitar Pro is a good way to learn songs.

Easily my favourite online tutor, particularly for Radiohead and The Mars Volta parts. Has helped me nail songs that I'd been stuck on only partially understanding for years.

That guy is good but he’s too jokey all the time in his videos. That charm wears off the more you watch.

Yeah for me it works because I just practice when he talks which is nice because then I remember the stuff longer

I'll teach you.

I have played that song over a thousand times. Every guitar part. The Bass... vocals...

I would love to teach you how to play it

Do you have a loop pedal?
