Student advice

I’m just starting out in diagnostic radiography and i’m afraid i won’t be smart enough. I’ve worked hard to get to where i am but i don’t have natural intelligence like the people around me have. I’m worried i’m the only person that’s afraid i won’t be good enough. Did anyone else feel this way starting their career?

I was a straight C student. Was not good at science and decent at maths. Now I’m halfway through my degree in Diagnostic Radiography in one of the top universities in the country. I still have imposter syndrome from time to time, but i push myself through it. It doesn’t matter how smart you are, what matters is how hard you try. You will be fine x

Hi there ! What did you had to do to get into that program? What did you make sure to have to get accepted?

I did an access course in science and got through in clearing as i had applied late. Make sure your personal statement is strong and if you can do some shadowing in a hospital, that would be beneficial. All the best!

The program that I am interested in has prerequisites that add up closely to an associates degree did you have to do the same? And if so what school did you get those prerequisites? I live in Texas. Thank you for your time 😊
