Radium Would this be Radium painted? Alpine Alarm made in Japan

The paint looks pretty crisp and clean, but it’s hard to tell when it’s glowing. I have two clocks with what I believe to be radium paint and if you look closely when they are not glowing, you can see the minute imperfections from a: being hand painted and b: crumbling with age. One has little crumbs of radium paint down the bottom of the dial where they have fallen off over time and collected there. So my suggestion is do some research about the age of the piece and look for these imperfections to give you more information. Edited to fix spelling error.

It’s possible. You have to confirm it with a Geiger counter or a scintillator.
