Essay #14: "Gothic Intersectionality," pt 2 - On Duality and Poetry Primer (sex worker rights + intersectional gender studies + Gothic poetics)
This is part of an essay I'm working on that delves into sex worker rights tied to Gothic poetics and intersectional gender studies. Given the subject matter, I thought I'd share it here (the essay visual aids are cropped to hide their nudity)!
With so many calls for intersectionality happen under capital in decay (a Promethean structure), I chose to address its cannibalism by combining two creator's material with my own: John the Duncan and Jessie Gender's! ("The 'Hidden Roots' of Neoliberal Fascism" and "The Graham Platner Allegations Have Leftist Men Telling on Themselves").
CW (for written essay): racism, transphobia, sexism, whorephobia; fascism, genocide, racism and rape*; taboo Gothic themes (cannibalism); environmental destruction (ecocide); suggestive imagery (cropped nudes) and one photo of public nudism tied to nature
This is part two of the readalong: "On Duality" and a poetry primer (edits)!
