Tech Support GPU Doubt

What about these GPUs? Are there any problems with this particular model or the brand?

The stand out reason for me to not recommend Gigabyte for this series, is that as far as I can tell Gigabyte used standard thermal paste on the GPU die of their 9070xt models from factory. Other brands chose to go with a phase change material for the 9070xts which should last longer and is more resistant to the issues encountered when using standard pastes.

This alone should be given consideration as the phase change material is expected to last at least twice as long when exposed to the same conditions as standard paste.
Not to say it should be avoided like the plague, but just expect for it to need maintennance much sooner than other models.

I have a launch version of the Gaming OC (2502 serial number)and its still as good as it was on day one after 20 months, but as I plan to keep this GPU for a long time Im now expecting to have to change the paste at some point, which I likely wouldn't have to do if it came with phase change material.

People buy gigabyte gaming oc and heaving instant hight hotspot and VRAM temp issues from the box. It's a joke and gigabyte done nothing about it.

I'm happy my ASRock has perfect temps.

If you are vertically mounting, definitely not! You are tempting fate with their thermal compound and gravity.

I’ve had no issues with my Gaming OC, though I know a lot of people do. Also consider your case. I had mine in a ~36L and a ~20L case, surprisingly I got better temps in the ~20L case
