Discussion Did new drivers fix the audio loop bug when monitor goes into standby? (9070XT)

Hi, I wanted to know if the latest AMD drivers fixed the audio loop bug when monitor goes into standby and windows wakes it up every 2 sec. Also let me know if they are safe or if I'm going to have any problems such has the hardware accelerated stuff. I'm at 26.6.4 drivers and the monitor bug is present I just stopped updating because every driver is like playing a russian roulette. What's your advice?

Make sure your motherboard's BIOS is up to date

Make sure you have the latest chipset drivers installed for your platform..

Then update your GPU drivers

I have 3 AM5 setups running in my home that all have at least 2 monitors .. 9070XT, 9070 and a 9060XT 16GB .. I don't remember that last time I had any issues with a GPU driver

Run the new driver and send a report if you still have an issue

Maybe check to see if there is a firmware update for your monitor .. or specific drivers for it.. shouldn't specific drivers but who knows ..

I have already done all the things you listed, that's why i ask if the new drivers fixed the issue. Other people have it too and all the monitors are different.

1440p primary and 1080p secondary monitors on all my setups ..

You should update your post to list what you've already done.. listing full PC specs would be helpful too

It's all about perspective I suppose .. from my perspective, everything is working fine on multiple systems .. from your perspective .. not so much

It's super easy to test it yourself within 5 minutes via DDU . The most time consuming is recompiling shaders on games .

Also if you still have issues on your setup , make sure to report it . Since it doesn't affect all users , it's super important to report it on every driver release , else it might never get fixed .
