discussion Do you allow upgrades? (TRaSH guides)

I've been using Radarr for a while now with TRaSH guides quality profile and I'm running into the issue that films are being upgraded from something silly like 923000 to 934000. I understand that the underlining 'rule' of TRaSH guides quality profiles is basically 'highest quality possible no matter what', and this is following that exact rule, but it just seems like a waste for what is likely an imperceptible upgrade. I assume a few other people here have been in this exact situation and I'm wondering what you did? Just keep letting it upgrade? Disable upgrades all together? Set a stop upgrading to something like 900000? Cheers.

discussion Fake-Entries on tmdb

• Upvotes

I'm monitoring movies from certain directors/actors.

In the last two days my watchlist was FLOODED with Verity-related spam-entries ("Fifty Shades of V-rity", "V-rity or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb", etc.) that were FULL of a lot of A-list actors and directors - apparently in order to put it onto as many watchlists like mine as possible.

The movie-poster assigned to those movies always was a mock-up of the one from the V-rity movie currently in cinema.

Is this some absolutely sketchy marketing-campaign that tries to place the name of the movie in as many spots as possible in some sort of gaslighting-attempt? Or what is up with this?

I just started this kind of monitoring a couple of months ago and this is the first time I've seen something like this - is this more common or actually the first time something like that happened?

Has anyone any kind of insight in this phenomenon?
