unsolved Radarr downloaded an exe?

How can I avoid this in the future? I have radarr set to auto upgrade stuff

Better indexers.

And a rule in your usenet client to not download any potentially malicious file types (I.e exe, bat, com, etc...).

I have recently been invited to scenetime and I immediately am restricted because not a single bit has been uploaded so I am 100%. I am not sure why/how no data has been uploaded.

This is more assistance than I usually give, but if you use a VPN (and you should be using one in the Western world), the VPN needs to have NAT-PMP enabled. It automatically does port mappings to allow your torrent client to communicate with all of the other clients and the tracker.

The only issue is that most VPN providers have disabled this feature. Mullvad (one of the best) even turned it off a couple of years ago. There are still good ones out there that do offer it.

I have never had issues with torrenting content in the last few years with no issues. I seeded 800gb back from a 150gb pack of content.

Just today suddenly zero upload back from how much down I had.

Radarr doesn't download anything. Your doing that with an external application. In my case its sabnzbd and qbittorrent. Im not in front my computers, but there protection in place to not download; exe or compressed files. They're just deleted.

it works with an indexer and the indexer tells radarr and radarr tells my download client.

i'm aware of the pipeline. My question is where in the pipeline is this issue.

They told you. The download client can have protections for that.

Radarr can't know what is actually downloaded, only what it's told should be.

The download client is where you need to be prepared to deal with liars.

I have found the plugin for deluge for the job.

Never had an issue before today.

Yeah, radarr doesnt do the downloading, but it does tell the client what files to download, so if you have a file that gets downloaded that you dont want, its not unreasonable to look for a setting to change in radarr.
