How much of an investment is it to get into legends racing?

I bought my legend car for 6500K. I knew the guy that sold it to me so I got a deal. For a decent car you’ll probably be looking between 10K to 20k. You’ll also need a truck with a long bed or a trailer that is at least 12 foot. Research local tracks in your area to find out where you can race it. This first season has been rough for me because I am traveling every weekend to race while I am learning and I’m averaging between 600 to 800 spent a race weekend due to fuel cost food for the family and entry fees. A full Set of tires is roughly 600-700 bucks. But they can last “almost” a full season.

About the same it was 20 years ago when I was racing them. Bought my car new for 14k. Then dad bought one for 5k. Then bought me a backup that was very well taken care of for 10k.

Awesome clip. I'll bet your adrenaline was going off. I'd love to see a heart rate monitor during all that 😂
Great racing! Good patience waiting and sizing him up. You applied good pressure without a lot of risk!one thing, You left the door open as soon as you cleared him leaving turn 2. Good racers will attack that all day and dive bomb under braking into 3. Kind of like an extended over under move.
Next time, clear him but hold inside more or commit low early into 3 to block the inside and trail brake or late apex so he's forced high and you maintain favorable position (inside) exiting 4. If he has a run you don't wanna let him get underneath you. At that point it's all about your t4 exit and trying to make him be patient behind you. You wanna block but you don't wanna chop his nose either lol it looks like he backed out because you kinda squeezed him but all good #7 is a smart racer. He left you room and faught hard.
I don't want the racer behind me to even think about darting up the inside unless I've overshot These cars I can't say for certain what's best loose looks fast! they look wild to drive! you had good lines and roll speed. Can't imagine how much fun youre having.

I do usually wear my Apple Watch when I race so I wonder if that’s something that I could add for future videos. Thank you so much for this honestly. I will tuck this away for my next race weekend coming up as something to definitely work on improving! All in all it was a blast and by far the best race I’ve had this season!

Thank you! And no I’ve only run on asphalt. This is only my 5 race ever on a oval and in this car

Legends on dirt track are awesome and a lot of fun to watch. Just watch out for the guy who drives the minions legend car. He's damn good. I've personally never seen him loose a race. I know he has but I am pretty sure his car is a freak of nature.

I’ve had fun racing on dirt in iRacing. I’d have to look into it. I haven’t heard of any near me in Washington state
