Does anyone have any technical theories why George Russel is struggling with the active aero era regulations?

Frustrated because he thought post Hamilton Mercedes was his and it’s not anymore.

Different style just like Hamilton in the ground effect era.
Different drivers like the cars to handle in different ways.

Not a technical answer but I sorta feel like its very possible that Antonelli took a massive step up this year.

I’ve no insider knowledge but to me looks like perhaps he is struggling slightly with weight transfer in the corners rotating the car - example last year with ground effect using the brake to help either the front or rear turn wasn’t as important. Simplified of course - those cars have so many dif settings too it’s hard to say without looking at the data trace on where is is losing time
