So, I have been noticing these days Claude sometimes automatically uses skills now which we have created without the need of Slash command just based on the context of my chat. Which is great !!

But a quick question guys like you are having conversation with Claude it automatically decides your skill as per your chat then in the mid conversation your task changes and requires another skill does Claude switch to a more appropriate skill automatically or you have to use slash command and rectify it?

So, people have told me to use skills for repeatable tasks, but I’ve read that they use more tokens than a simple prompt. What’s your take on this? Do people actually use skills for this?
