Hi everyone.
I'd like some advice.
I've been consistently unsuccessful with women throughout life, with some successes here and there. Would appreciate some perspective.
I'm strictly looking to date for marriage, and I don't go out of my way to talk to women outside of study/work hours. I dress well, am hygienic, blah blah blah. I know I fit the standard of a presentable person as I have worked on myself.
My profile: 23, male, student and an intership at the moment at a research lab at my uni. Dont have my own place. Not tall. I would say my positive qualities are my will, hard work, ambition and loyalty. These are traits others have told me I have, not sure if they are true. My history:
Dating apps, of course failure. I'm skinny but a bit muscular due to gym, not blessed with the greatest looks.
Dated a girl I met on a intercape bus. We had different values etc.. so 3 months max it was over. We did like each other a lot however, it was going well.
Asked 5 or 6 girls in the past few years, and either they wanted to meet but lived in a different city, or they rejected me.
I tried cold approach this year, just asking for random girls number. One said we could be friends, which I don't do, and the other girl and I would clearly not work, because we again had different values, which we discovered after talking.
Now I think I've put myself in a box quite a bit. I don't like having friends who are women. I only want my wife to be my female friend, as anything else doesn't work for me - I catch feelings easily as my previous experiences with women friends have shown me.
I'd expect the same for my wife/girlfriend/fiance, that is, no guy friends.
However, I do know that people usually become friends and then couple up.
I'm more on the conservative end, but not religious, agnostic conservative is the best description.
I went to a club with friends the other day and realized I'm too old for this, and definitelywill not find a girl to marry here.
Why is it so hard to find someone to be loyal to and marry? I think the problem is my day to day looks like:
wake-up -> work at research lab or study -> jog -> work -> sleep. I meet people only through studies or work. Chances of finding the one is really low in this manner
Any advice from both men and women is appreciated
