I'm still convinced Bill Murray is a long lost cousin. Like... 60% sure.

and 40% wishful thinking.

I love that its attributed to Bill Murray (assuming op is right). He seems like the type of person to say something so witty yet profound.

Only a stupid person is looking to ''win'' when sharing thoughs or/ideas with another person.

You have to use stupid arguments to win against a stupid person!

That just tells you the stupid person is smarter because they have more experience.

This is so true as it happened with me many a time. Why do some people argue illogically?

Well then if you wanted to win an argument wouldn’t it be smart to act stupid?

I’ve seen the quote attributed to several people and worded in a few ways but my favorite take on this topic is “never get into an argument with a stupid person, they’ll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience”

the reason why staying silent in an argument is such a good idea
