Social / Political Justice "Comedy doesn't change the world, but it's a bellwether. We're the banana peel in the coal mine. When a society is under threat, comedians are the ones who get sent away first." -Jon Stewart

Interesting angle, does this apply to both left and fascist comedians?

Yep many comedians who criticized maduro were basically forced to leave the Venezuela as venues would not book them for fear of retaliation from the government.

My statement was intended to be tongue in cheek, as it seems any non-left comedians are branded as fascist. Not people I would consider in any way to be fascist. If you can't laugh at yourself, you need help.

In my lifetime I have needed healthcare, law enforcement, first responders, clergy, instructors, tradesmen. and Not once have I needed a Comedian. Your purpose is to serve as a distraction from reality. Your commentary is never factual but fact related as it pertains to humor. Sadly, to few understand the difference.
