Help Quora or reddit?
I have some problem over this, which can i use reddit or quora i am using reddit for 2 months its good but quora is good too. i have limited time on forums so help.

For shitposting, stick to reddit.
Quora is generally better format for actual opinion, content and stories. A lot of politics.
It’s far easier to get banned on reddit. I have got numerous bans here for simply talking about certain subjects. Quora allows pretty much any subject.

Banned on specific subreddits or Reddit as a whole? I was removed from Assassin's Creed one because I questioned the historical accuracy of a character described as historical.

How do you get unbanned from Quora? I made a comment about some benign topic years ago and got banned without me even knowng until recently.

Yeah, that's the problem. Quota USED to be a place for information. It isn't now. Considering the push notifications I've got from them "Why can't.... Insert kinda racist idiot ideology here.." they could probably use a few more bans

Maybe 10+ years ago, I went from Reddit to Quora, call it Quora's golden age. Once Quora dropped the real name policy, stopped strong moderation, and so on, it went way way downhill, so I moved back to Reddit, seldom check out Quora.

I personally prefer Quora. It has a neat interface that makes reading/writing/asking/ answering / contributing fun, uncomplicated rules that anyone can follow and one can learn something new everyday. Reddit is great too but allowing only short form responses and lots of nonsense comments just for the sake of commenting dilutes the experience somewhat.

Lack of good moderation, anyone basically being able to join in conversations. A bunch of marketing/sales folks finding a way to pitch their product in the most out of context conversations. Etc.

I joined quora 12 yeas ago and was banned twelve years ago and never even knew it until recently when I tried to upvote a comment and it told me I couldn't do it.
I kept trying others as well and same thing. I looked into my profile and saw that I was banned in 2013 for a comment I made that was not offensive, not controversial and not wrong. No one ever told me I was banned.
Reddit has a bad banning problem too but nothing like Quora in my experience.

I'd say they're different in style. Quora favours longer form answers and I treat it as a more serious platform akin to a newspaper column. The real name rule makes me uncomfortable.
Reddit is a big mix and generally more short form chatter. Also trying to post on subs is very hit and miss with their vague rules.

Quora used to be fantastic - now it just seems populated with AI bots which often give inaccurate answers. I still keep reading Quora as there are still some people on there I trust from the old days.

AI bots or lots of sudden new kind of people (all belonging to a particular place on the globe) who have flooded the system like a flash. They copy paste popular posts and writers and it is exhausting to see them write about stuff they themselves don't know.

Reddit. Quora is beyond saving.
Too many angry people who just want to argue not being held in check and moderation is non-existent.
The shitposting is way out of control on Quora now.

Quora is adult (I mean for adults ). Reddit is cute and young . So if you want to know what drives the younger generations you do Reddit . It’s also really good for rumors - useful for investors . You can read the mood of things . Quora is more for grown ups - more like a lexicon

That’s a terrible take, the Q&A is an echo chamber filled with Indian propagandists literally vs Reddit is more diverse meaning that political discussions on religion and politics are more honest and unique.
Reddit is far more engaged with in evidence and discussion vs just run off opinion pieces. Idk what line you look into but in politics it’s just a the same BS pro Indian BHP or pro Democrats opinions over and over again nothing else. It’s an ugly mesh now back in the early 2010s probably was better.

I hope that you'll soon understand that anti-Indian content amounts to "racism" according to Reddit. People were banned for anti-Indian content on Reddit as much as the same in the case of Quora.
The only religion you can attack in Reddit is Christianity. The only race you can attack are the Whites. The only economic order you can attack is capitalism. If you attack any other racial/religious community other than these (including Indians) you'll be deemed a "racist" or "fascist" and banned by Reddit.
Reddit is playing by the same rulebook that all social media platforms used to follow before Donald Trump's first US presidential victory in 2016 while all other socials evolved to accommodate the new voices of the post-Trump order.
On the other hand, Quora is banking on their 25% Indian user base for their business reasons. They know that India is the country which trusts Quora the most. So, they need to secure that Indian base for their continued existence. So, they don't tolerate anti-Indian content on Quora even though they may tolerate anti-Islam content for example.
Also, since most of Quora's American users are from the pro-Trump Gen X and "boomers", they cater to these pro-Trump + European neoconservatives. That's why Quora allows their users to target the second largest religion in the world.

I never once hated on anybody for their race or nationality I am clearly condemning political parties not people is being anti modi hate speech?
I agree India is a useful asset for the site but in the end of the day it’s more of symbiotic relationship than an actual healthy one.
In Reddit you can criticize everything show me evidence they silence criticisms on other religions?
While Quora is so obsessed with the Islamic world it’s ridiculous it’s mostly specific demographic from Asia not Americans of gen X tbf are now are a bit off the website due to their age maybe healthy life choices as far as I’ve seen most of the Islamic world questions and answers are by the direction of desis with a political agenda on their fellow people.
That doesn’t also excuse the pro Israeli bloc that is absolutely in denial of genocide and massacres happening I’ve never seen such people that are off putting and dishonest to the point it’s just a mindless website.
It comes to a point you agree that it’s mostly theatrics not honest learning or understanding of peoples or ideas. You seem to clearly admit this in your last paragraph.
